What is SASEhack?

Join us for the 2026 SASEhack! SASEhack is a beginner-friendly, hybrid hackathon open to undergraduate college students of all majors and nationalities. Collaborate on creating innovative solutions for real-world challenges.

The 2026 SASEhack is directly connected to SASE's STEM Connect national convention happening October 1 to 3, 2026, in Seattle. The online hackathon portion runs from September 18 to September 20, 2026, and is entirely remote. A select group of top teams will then have the opportunity to present live at the STEM Connect convention in Seattle.

This hackathon accepts teams of 1 to 4 members, but it is strongly encouraged to work on a team of 2 or more (all previous winning teams had 2+ members). If you would like help finding a team, please denote that in the registration form.

📍 Location

• Hackathon: Remote (online) 💻 | September 18 - 20, 2026
• STEM Connect Convention: Seattle, WA (for select teams and programming from Oct 1 to 3, 2026). Please note: Teams presenting in Seattle must already have at least 1 member with tickets for the STEM Connect convention. We do not provide travel or registration support.
